Since I am not technically a police officer as of December 5, 2009 I have changed my blog title. I will take suggestions on a better title, but as of now it is the best I could think of in 20 seconds.
My next item to speak of is my sabbatical I will be taking. I am venturing into a new career which means that I will not have access to this blog for pretty much half a year. Now I know you are saying "He hardly writes on here anyways!" So at least I have conditioned the 2 readers I have to long periods of waiting on my every word.
Seriously though, I am excited for the upcoming change. It will be tough and at times I am sure I will hate it, but it is for the betterment of my family and that is all I can ask out of life. I say farewell to the blog world for 6 months (or so) and look forward to seeing you on the flip side.
In case any one is wondering I start on December 6, 2009. I am leaving my current city of Indianapolis on 12.3 to go spend a few days with my wife in D.C.
Thank you for reading my "Cop's Perspective". Think of new titles and I will try and post when I can, and about things that are on my mind.
